Privacy Policy
DealRivet (“we”, “us”) provides web software for real estate wholesalers. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to dealrivet.com and the DealRivet workspace.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, business name, markets, and a protected (hashed) version of your password.
- Workspace records you add: leads, seller and buyer contact details, notes, messages, appointments, property details, photos, contracts, disclosures, signatures and other documents. You decide what goes in your workspace.
- Billing information: payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive your plan status and payment confirmations, not your full card number.
- Security and signing records: sign-in times, IP addresses and device information, used to protect accounts and, for e-signatures, kept in each document’s signature record.
- Messages you send us: what you enter in the contact form or a help ticket.
- Cookies: a session cookie keeps you signed in. We store small preferences, such as your light or dark theme, in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use information
- To run the workspace: storing your records, researching properties, preparing documents, sending email and texts you request, and collecting signatures.
- To bill your plan and credits, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To answer support requests and contact-form messages, and to tell you about changes to the service.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping signature records and responding to lawful requests.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your workspace records to advertise to anyone.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run DealRivet, and only what each needs:
- Hosting and storage: our cloud hosting provider.
- Payments: our payment processor.
- Email delivery: our email delivery provider, for your business inbox and documents you send.
- Text messaging: our messaging carrier, when your workspace has texting turned on.
- Property and comparable-sales data: property data and ARV providers receive the property address you look up.
- AI features: repair estimates and listing-photo checks send the property details and photos involved to our AI provider.
- Internal notifications: contact-form messages, new sign-ups and sales are sent to our team’s notification tools so we can respond.
Crime statistics are requested with only a city and state, never an address or a person’s details. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers and texting opt-in records are used only to deliver the messages a workspace sends and to honor opt-outs. Recipients can reply STOP to stop receiving texts.
Records about sellers and buyers
Customers who store information about sellers, buyers and other contacts in DealRivet control that information and are responsible for collecting it lawfully, including any consent needed to call, text or email those people. We process it on the customer’s behalf. If you are a seller or buyer and want a record changed or removed, contact the business that contacted you, or contact us and we will pass your request on.
How long we keep information
We keep account and workspace information while your account is active. When an account is closed we delete or de-identify its records within a reasonable time, except signed documents, signature records and billing records we must keep for legal, tax or dispute purposes.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, encrypted storage of connection secrets, hashed passwords, email verification, sign-in checks on new devices and access controls between workspaces. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update most account information in your workspace. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to export your records, by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law; we will honor them as the law requires and will not discriminate against you for using them.
Children
DealRivet is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell account owners by email or in the workspace.
